Email Templates

Boltic Email Templates are the preset layouts that can be used to build insightful email reports. To improve the overall email experience of the recipients and ensure a consistent look and feel you can also add images, write text, or attach the files to the email.

Supported Email Templates​

In Boltic you will see different types of email templates: tabulate sales report, sales aggregated report, product list, and quick updates.

Select and Add an Email Template​

  • Click the Select Template button

  • Next, from the list of email templates, select the one that suits your requirement

  • Now, you will see a HTML code in the body. Boltic gives you a flexibility to change the HTML codes of these pre-formatted templates as per your requirement.

Along with changing the predefined text, you can change the label of the columns as well.

  • {%-If column[0]=='Product' or column[0]=='Quantity'-%} and {%-if value[0]=='Product 'or value[0]=='Quantity'-%}

This syntax represents the column names associated to the template. To change the column name you will need to change the HTML code by entering your column names in both If statements.

Let's use a simple example: you have Food Sales data and you want to send the City and Row_ID as a report in an email to the recipients. For that, you will replace the Product column with City and the Quantity column with Row_ID

  • Click the Source icon to change the body format from HTML to text

  • Click Preview to view the email template before sending to the recipient

  • You can pass the parametersto the email using {{}} along with the personalized email report
