Concat Transformation
Concat Transformation is used to join two or more values together of the source columns. The values can be text, numeric, integer and decimals. When you concatenate cells in queried data, you combine only the contents of those cells.
Steps to Apply Concat Transformation
This guide will give you a brief idea of what steps you need to follow to apply the Concat Transformation.
Step 1: Add Transformation Type
First, visit the Add Transformation page to add the Concat Transformation.
Step 2: Select Source Columns
Click the Source Column dropdown to select the column on which you want to apply transformation.
Step3: Select Target Column
To reside the merge data in the different column, you can either create a New Column or specify the place it in the Existing Column box.
Step 4: Add a Delimiter
If you don't want your values to be knit together, then add a separator ( comma, semicolon, colon, quotes) in the Delimeter box
Step 5: Save the Transformation Configuration
Click the Save button to save the configuration.
Add Another Transformation
After defining the first Transformation, you can add multiple transformations to the defined Transformation or add another new Transformation step to a bot This flexibility helps you to get the desired output in one go.
Step 6: Save & Test Transformation
Once the above-mentioned steps are done, click the Save & Test button to test and save the Transformation.
