SMTP Integration
Simple Mail Transfer Protocol(SMTP) is a server used to send, receive, and relay an email across the connections. Boltic allows you to send an email using SMTP for that, first, you need to integrate your SMTP server as a source.
Set up Guide to Integrate SMTP with Boltic
This guide will give you a brief idea of what steps you need to follow to integrate SMTP into Boltic.
Step 1: Add Integration
Before configuring the SMTP, first, visit the "Add Integration" page to select SMTP as an integration.
Step 2: Configuration
Once you select the SMTP as a communication source, provide the following details to your Configure SMTP Integration Page-
- Give a meaningful name to your Integration
Parameters | Description |

Host | In the Host text box, enter your SMTP server host endpoint. |
Port | In the Port text box, rnter your SMTP port number. |
Authentication
Credentials | Description |
---|---|
Username | In the Username text box, enter a SMTP Username. |
Password | In the Password text box, enter a SMTP Password. |
- To encyrpt communication between a client and server we request you to integrate SMTP to Boltic using any of the portals- TSL/SSL
Step 3: Test & Save
To validate data source configuration, click on the Test & Save, and determine whether the connection is successfully established or not.
Add Info
Its metadata, which includes description and markers, can be used for surfacing information to end-users and as tags for monitoring. Click on the More Options button to enter the metadata.
