REST API

REST API is an architectural style for application program interface that defines a set of protocols to access and use data. You can load data to Bolt from any of the supported sources and write data to REST API.

Step by Step to Configure REST API as a Destination​

Step 1: Add Destination​

Go to the Add Destination** page to choose REST API as a destination.

Step 2: Configure Destination​

Configure API

  • From the "Expiry" dropdown set the link expiration period for a REST API link

  • If you keep the "Export along with Meta Data" box checked you will get the a REST API link along with metadata

  • Check the "Mono Mode" box to fetch only first object from the result instead of fetching list of results

Step 3: Publish Bolt​

Click "Save" and give a meaningful name and description to the bolt and then copy the REST API link.

Scheduling​

After successfully sinking data to the destination, you can click on the "Schedule" to run data continuously to a destination and repeat at a given time or interval.
